Truth: The only limitations on your life are the ones you have placed there yourself. If you believe that you will never rise above and that you will always be a victim of your circumstances, you’re right. You will never get past today. If you believe that you cannot change and that you cannot make a difference - you’re right. You have already written the end of your story. There’s no point in going on.
However, if you can get your mind around this truth and adopt it as your own, today could be the start of a brand new life for you.
God can do what you can’t. Only God can take the most miserable, messed up life and make it into something beyond all you could ever ask or dream. In fact, that was the plan all along. God will meet you right where you are, no questions asked, and turn your mountains into miracles. You just have to ask.
You’ve tried everything else. What have you got to lose?
I’ll say it with you.
“Jesus, I give you my heart. I ask you to forgive me for my sins and to give me a new start with a new heart, and I declare that You are My Lord and Savior.” Amen.
One simple prayer and you have a new start.
“Okay,” you say. “Now what?”
Now believe it.
Believe that in the moment you said that prayer that the tide has turned in your favor and that the God of the entire universe stopped to listen to you. Believe that He is now in control of your destiny and that anything can happen when you believe in Him. Believe that He is taking even the worst problems you have and He is making a way for you to be free. At this very moment He is altering your circumstances to make a way out for you, and He will never let you go. You may walk away from Him many, many times and you will make many mistakes along the way, but He will never, ever, leave you and the more you believe it, the more you will see it, and it begins today.
