The only thing standing between you and the life you dream of is lies. You’ve believed them your whole life and this is your moment to stop.
Imagine two babies. Side by side they lay in all their innocence and purity. Each one is equally deserving of love and protection. Each one uniquely equipped with special gifts, talents and abilities. Which one is more valuable? Which one is more important?
One baby will be raised in a loving environment filled with encouragement and unconditional love. It will grow to maturity believing it is of the utmost value and is destined to do great things. . . so it does.
For a while.
One day, however, it encounters rejection from others and its belief in itself begins to falter. Failure after failure begin to take their toll and one day the child no longer believes it can succeed. As time goes on it gives up on its dreams, disillusioned and hopeless, in spite of it’s obvious early advantages.
The other baby is raised in a hostile environment. It will grow to maturity being abused, neglected and rejected. It is raised to believe it deserves nothing better and will never amount to anything. It is given little or no hope that it will ever have anything more. So it doesn’t.
For a while.
One day, however, it begins to sense that there is more to life than it was told. Little by little it begins to shed the negative influences in life and it slowly moves toward something better. Over time that child learns that it can do more and be more than it was told. So it does.
One day it will turn around and laugh at the incredible journey that has brought it to a whole new place, marveling at how far it has come and how far it can ultimately go.
The question is: Which child are you?
The truth, and I cannot stress this enough, is no matter how you started out, whether it was a good start or a bad one, the only thing preventing you from becoming what you were born to be is your willingness to let go of the lies. The ones that say you’ll never make it and you don’t matter. The ones that convince you that you cannot rise higher – after all, no one else in your family has, why should you? The lie that you’ve made too many mistakes or too many bad choices. The lies that keep you behind walls of bitterness and disappointment and tell you it can’t be done. The ones that tell you that this is all there is and you should just get used to it. The ones that say you never had a chance . . . and you have a right to be angry… for the rest of your life.
Guess what? Today you can silence the lies, once and for all.
Every single negative word said to you and every single negative event in your life can be broken in this one moment. You ready?

The King knows all about you. He knows your faults, your failures, your weaknesses and He loves you. He loves you so much that He is blind to everything except the best in you. Everyone you ever met may have let you down, but He never will. God not only walks among us. He lives among us.
