Wings
What are wings anyway? Little flimsy things that flip up and down or big metal appendages on airplanes that make them fly through the air? In this case, none of the above.
Wings are the truths of your life.
They are the foundation of your beliefs and what enable you to rise above your circumstances rather than being defeated by them. In this journey we call “life” we are inundated with information, most of which is a lie. When we find our wings, we are no longer limited by our circumstances or what other people say about us, and we can leave those negative influences behind.
Inside the chrysalis, once transformation is complete, the butterfly instinctively finds its quarters have now become too confining. It begins to struggle, pushing and twisting against the walls, determined to break free from the confines of the chrysalis. It can only progress in tiny increments and the struggle is unbelievably intense. Ever feel like that?
Fraction by minute fraction, the butterfly begins to break down the walls surrounding it, until that shining moment when it finally breaks completely free.
The question you have to ask yourself is, “Why?” Why does this creature have to go through so many changes in order to become what it was destined to be? Other creatures are simply born as they are and live out their lives in the same form as they started. Why are butterflies different?

The reason is quite simple. It does it for you and me.
The life of a butterfly is an example of the changes we all must go through in order to become what we were ultimately created to be. There are no shortcuts. The hardships, the struggles, the overwhelming obstacles we face are merely stages of a process that will ultimately result in something miraculous.
